So, here we are...two weeks on from the solar eclipse. What a roller-coaster ride it has been! There have been highs, lows and a myriad of emotions in between. There have been insights, moments of great clarity and just as many of confusion, we’ve discovered how we’ve been standing in our own way, and even experienced moments of release and surrender.
No matter what you’ve been experiencing over the last two weeks, it’s going to last just a touch longer as we head into the Full Moon lunar eclipse on Wednesday, 23rd March (11pm Melbourne time).
This week I’m not going to go into the technicalities of a lunar eclipse, nor of its astrological influences (this eclipse is in Libra), there’s plenty of information on that sort of thing floating around so you can do your own research (there are links in the Energy Wrap Up ~ 8 March 2016 post that you can re-visit if you’d like to read up on this). What I am guided to do, and quite strongly too - it’s a lot stronger than the feelings I had two weeks ago - is to share my intuitive feelings and to channel those for you.
For many, restful sleep has been hard to come by over the last fortnight. The week of the solar eclipse (the second week of March), even though you slept throughout the night, you may have felt exhausted upon waking; this is due to the body integrating the incoming energies of that time. The incoming vibrations and frequencies are different to those that we’re currently experiencing and so there will need to be a time of integration and assimilation - just as when you have an energy healing, there is a time of cleansing and clearing and integrating the new energies. This is normal and is a part of the process, this differs for each individual and so too does the time it takes.

This last week, I noticed that at the beginning of the week, perhaps even as far back as the weekend, I was sleeping less but feeling better throughout the day. This shifted a few days in as the Moon started to reach fullness. As with full moons, there is a period of sleeplessness, vivid dreams and at times we might even experience mental fogginess, confusion and delayed reactions.
Some may have received insights and inspiration that infused your entire being with courage, clarity and determination to set new goals or get a new project under way - follow through with this, paying attention to your fluctuating energy levels; do not burn yourself out.
For some, you may have come face-to-face with old emotions that you had thought had been cleared - this was hopefully the final test and experience of these emotions from the past. Others may have been shown how they’ve been playing a part in their own sabotage and how they’ve been keeping themselves small for the benefit of others - there’s lots of inner work to be done here!
Others may have experienced a heart-opening that was as beautiful and unnerving as anything they’ve ever experienced. If this occurred for you, you will know because you will find yourself looking at others with compassion during interactions that would normally get you riled up and your blood boiling. The Full Moon may also exaggerate these feelings of anger and stress, so do pay attention to your inner signals and walk away from any button-pushing situations.
During this time dear ones, don’t get too attached to how things appear - everything is shifting and changing literally before our eyes; and when it can’t be seen, it can definitely be felt. If you can, find some time to meditate or do something that helps you centre yourself so that you can come from a place of peace and that helps you to act rather than react.
Be love, have compassion, act with grace and integrity and know that we are all doing the best we can with the tools and know-how that we have available to us. This journey is challenging for all of us, so if you can’t be loving and supportive, then at least don’t make things worse for anyone, including yourself.
I’d love to know how this post resonated with you, so please let me know in the comments box below. For me, writing this felt different to any other post I’ve written so far. I’ve noticed many changes over the last week and I sense a fine-tuning going on for each of us.
