Let’s take a look at what 2017 promises in terms of personal and spiritual growth...
X WHEEL of FORTUNE & I THE MAGICIAN
This year we reach a turning point. We get to decide whether we want to manifest the life of our dreams or one that’s in alignment with our Soul’s calling - these can seem similar on the surface, but the energies can be quite different as we delve deep within to recover our Purpose and the steps we need to take in order to align to this Vision or Contract.
We will become aware of opportunities that will take us outside of our comfort zone - what we need to remember is that we’ve been building up to this. Every experience we’ve had, every bit of knowledge we’ve gathered, has all been leading to this.
We will be called upon to trust that the Universe/Source is providing us with everything we need as we make this transition from the old way of living and being into the new, as yet unexplored terrain that we are now facing.
We already have everything available to us that we need to take the first few steps, the rest will be revealed or attracted to us as we need it. So if you find yourself thinking that you just don’t feel ready, equipped or prepared, have faith that what you need will appear when you need it. I’m also being asked to share that you’ll have to be open to things presenting differently to what you’ve imagined. Have an open mind as you begin this new chapter and you’ll be amazed at the things that show up for you and the action you feel ready to take.
This year is a 10 year - if we reduce it to single digits, we have a 1 year. The number 1 indicates new beginnings and opportunities, it signifies the potential that exists within everything - that is before the mind gets involved and begins limiting our views and experiences of life and ourselves.
Whatever it is that you want to manifest this year: health, abundance, security, love and romance, deeper and more meaningful work - IT IS POSSIBLE! What you need to do is keep a clear mind, keep focused on your intentions and keep your energy high by choosing to look at and experience the positives, the lessons and the opportunities for growth; and most of all, be willing to step outside of your comfort zone - there’s nothing that stifles these energies of expansion more than being unwilling to experience new things.
There’s also a sense of needing to find a balance between being out in the world, doing your thing and making the time to tend to your Soul - both of these elements are crucial at this time.
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself drawn to new interests, as you grow as a person as well as spiritually, you’ll find that your tastes change and expand - go with it! This year is all about experimenting, being, doing and participating - and remembering that adjustments are needed along the way, so be mindful and introduce more openness and flexibility to your life, especially when things start to pick up speed and begin to shift before your eyes. Plans need to be flexible and so do you this year. Release the need to be right, release the ingrained habit of resistance and be open to what your Soul is ready to share with you.
Inner Work for 2017
Use these questions for journalling and/or healing work - pay attention to your body’s reactions to these questions and see if you can trace your reactive feelings, thoughts and/or emotions back to where you may be experiencing dis-ease in your life:
What new pathways do I feel are opening up to me?
How have my interests changed over the last 6-12 months?
Do I feel drawn to new things?
What skills do I feel guided/drawn to develop?
What skills and/or abilities can I begin to use right now to effect change in my life?
What is the one wish/dream that I need to express?
You cannot bring into being what you don’t acknowledge, so write down your goals, visions, dreams, wishes, stand in front of a mirror and speak the words to yourself, speak to your Angels and Guides, it’s time to put it out there and then pay attention as the Universe delivers the signs that you need to make it so.
I trust that these questions will get the juices flowing, helping you to get a better understanding of what’s standing in the way of your hopes, visions, dreams and goals and what’s available to you.
