26 August 2018 - Full Moon in Pisces @ 9.56pm

The Moon reaches her peak fullness on Sunday, 26 August at 9.56pm (AEST) in the sign of Pisces.

At the Full Moon we find ourselves halfway through the lunar cycle. At this point, we may find ourselves feeling emotional beyond reason, confused or uncertain almost to the point of paralysis, or maybe even possibly irritated and angry as it feels that everything we do is an uphill battle. On the other hand, if we’ve paid attention to the signs and done the inner work in the lead up to the Full Moon, we’re better able to harness the energies and feel super focused, spiritually connected, and we might even be able to tap into the emotions on a more positive level, for instance, where we feel and can express more compassion to those around us than we normally would.

This Full Moon in Pisces highlights even more of the emotional aspects of Self and all that feels out of alignment emotionally may just feel way too much, leaving us overwhelmed, teary, and unable to make any decisions about anything - this is temporary so find something nurturing to do for yourself in the meantime.

That said though, I’m not an astrologer, so I’ll stick with what I do best...intuitively tuning into the Moon’s energies…

This Full Moon we are stepping into a new stage of healing. Most of this year, we’ve been dealing with the Inner Child and all of her/his aspects, but something has shifted, and quite deeply too, over the last month or so and the Lion’s Gate, along with the two eclipses that preceded it and the one that followed, have really shaken things up, leaving us in this - what appears to be - uncertain time as we prepare to leave childhood and move into adolescence.

Energetically, we are moving into the next stage of our spiritual evolution which still finds us occasionally stepping back into the Inner Child energy, not to stay, but to collect the parts of Self that are ready to begin their maturation process, we’ll return often beyond early 2019 to collect different aspects at different times depending on our individual progress and growth before we are ready to move onto the next phase.

We are moving from the root/base chakra energies of belonging, security, family and tribe relationships, and into the sacral energies where we are beginning to explore our spiritual development, encountering the possibility and potential of the power that we have to consciously create what we most invest our energy in as well as what we desire as we discover/recover our passion and drive in the world along with what that looks and feels like to and for us.

At this energetic level we also come to terms with our emotional wellbeing - what nurtures us as well as what takes from us. It’s highly possible that old friendships/connections fall away at this time. We begin to test our boundaries and learn what we are capable of, what we desire, and we measure it up with all that we’ve learned and been taught along the way to see if it’s still something that resonates with us, or discover that we need to establish new belief and value systems that will sustain us in the coming years as we lay the foundation for the more mature aspects of Soul that we are encountering at this stage of our human-spiritual journey over the next few months.
