26 February 2019 - 3rd Quarter Moon in ♐ Sagittarius @ 10.27pm AEDT
By this point in the lunar cycle we have been able to see what is ready to bear fruit (at the Full Moon last week) and we now begin to feel a sense of urgency as we feel the need to bring our dreams, goals and visions to the completion of their current stage or place the finishing touches on a project that has been our focus for some time.
In the coming days we will feel a natural urge to withdraw from the world around us so that we can recharge and rejuvenate for what the next lunar month will bring. So over the next 2-4 days, make the most of these energies, tie up loose ends and honour the call and need to go within when it comes. As we head into the weekend these energies will be strong and rest is recommended.
But for now, tend to the tasks that need more of your energy and, as we head towards the end of the week, tend to the less physically taxing tasks such as doing the things on your to-do list that you’ve been neglecting - the energies will be perfect for getting those smaller tasks out of the way and you’ll be able to move into the next lunar month feeling freer and lighter.
♐ Sagittarius energies…
Sagittarius energy is all about injecting joy into our life and expanding our horizons - whether through study, travel, or interacting with those from different cultural backgrounds. It helps us to dare to dream of what resides on the other side of our comfort zones.
Exploration is supported with Sagittarius energy and so too is the ability to get our message out into the world - you might find yourself curious about how to share your message with the masses as well as possibly finding new ways to do so.
As a fire sign, Sagittarius gives us the energy we need to initiate change - especially if it means that we have to go it alone. Independence and adventure come easily to Sagittarius as they are always seeking the deeper meaning of things and life, and they do not worry about having to go on their own if need be, in fact it seems that they prefer it that way.
🌗 3rd Quarter Moon in ♐ Sagittarius energies…
The energies of this 3rd Quarter Moon in Sagittarius will bring challenges for many related to creativity and self-expression, and how to integrate and them to the areas of our life where money and finance are in the spotlight so that we can begin to do the Work that we’ve come here to do.
On the surface there appears to be a disconnect with these energies (creativity and self-expression vs. money and finances) because we are looking at them from perspectives that no longer hold true for us.
We are attempting to consolidate our passion and what drives us into a limited expression of what is acceptable and achievable - we must begin to think outside the box if we are to make any sort of progress. In order to be able to think outside the box, we must allow ourselves to begin to FEEL into the possibilities and opportunities that are streaming into our awareness.
As we continue to work on our foundation we are called to look at our values - are they in alignment with where we envision ourselves moving into the future, or are we still holding onto the values of those who came before us?
How can we truly express ourselves if we don’t know who we are. As you look at your personal values, view the values of those who came before you with honour and reverence as they have been the values that have helped you get this far. They may still serve a purpose as you move forward, so ensure you look at the essence of the values rather than the way that they were instilled.
We may also feel challenged by the deep desire to integrate spirituality in our life whilst feeling the pull of the distractions of the outside world. Equally, our increasing levels of self-confidence that we are attempting to integrate in a meaningful and uncomplicated manner also have the potential to create more surface-level struggle than is necessary.
The key to dealing with these challenges is to look at them from a detached perspective - yes, the Moon is still reflecting a quarter of the Sun’s light so there will be distractions - most likely in the form of emotional interference from uninvestigated emotional wounds and beliefs, but there is also the potential for reflection if we choose to harness the energies of this Moon instead.
Overall, the energies are filled with immense potential to support us in establishing meaningful foundations and structures. By allowing the emotional realms to inform us of our current state and in our ability to initiate change in and of our lives, we can really make shift happen - this truly is a time to expand our current awareness of what is possible.
