21 March 2019 - Full Moon in ♎ Libra @ 12.42pm AEDT
At the Full Moon phase we begin to clearly see the way ahead - that is if we’re not affected by the upheaval and turmoil that accompanies the energies of this phase; and this of course is dependent upon our natal chart, as well as the sign that Grandmother Moon is moving through, hence the reason why we individually respond to each Full Moon differently.
Generally speaking, at this point, we begin to really get into the task at hand, we are clear on what needs to be done - because Grandmother Moon is illuminating our landscape - and we’re prepared to do what it takes to bring it to completion at or before the New Moon in two weeks time.
We must also remain aware that as with all illumination, if we look directly into the source of light or at a reflective surface, we may be temporarily blinded which means that we may not see everything that lies before us. So rather than looking directly at the shiniest surface/area/thing ahead of you, use your peripheral vision to get a sense of what else might be just as important at this time. Just because it’s not right in front of you, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t as important, or even more so, than where you’re currently focusing your attention.
♎ Libra energies…
Libra likes balance, harmony, beauty, and peace at all costs. Depending on their natal chart, some will have more of a tendency to surround themselves with luxurious items that reflect just how much value they place on status and ‘looking the part’, ensuring that they always look immaculate - on the outside at least.
Others, will be happy and at peace in more modest surroundings, knowing and feeling that a sense of balance and comfort is what’s most important to them.
Libra likes to look at all sides of a situation before offering their opinion - this is why they’re often depicted as indecisive, when the truth is that they just want to ensure that all involved parties will be getting a fair deal. If you ask a Libra for advice and they give it, know that they’ve considered all aspects and possibilities before offering it, so make sure that you acknowledge the time and energy that they’ve put into you and your situation.
It’s often said that Libra is in love with the idea of love. Whilst this might be true, many are also aware of the importance of feeling supported, heard and accepted as they are, and will have no problem preferring to love themselves rather than accepting less than they deserve in an unfulfilling relationship or partnership.
🌕 Full Moon in ♎ Libra energies…
This month’s Full Moon energies bring together the opposing forces of balance and harmony versus the urge to be out in the world doing what we do best. If we are able to tap into each of these energies, infusing rest and balance with doing and being productive, we will find that we work much better, are more productive and feel more satisfied with the end result.
Most of us have by now transitioned from the realm of the emotions and the discomfort that the New Moon brought to the surface a fortnight ago - some symptoms and deeper issues will linger for some time yet - and we’ve started taking action to dissolve what we learned about our Self so that we can begin to make progress towards our goals, dreams and visions.
This Full Moon will bring to our attention to our desire to BE more - this desire was hidden beneath all of the energetic debris of the emotional terrain that we’ve been travelling over the last two weeks or so.
Add to this Mercury’s retrograde journey, and all of the things that he’s helping us to ‘re’: re-do, reflect, recover, revise, reintegrate, revisit, etc., and you’ll be able to see that this is all working out FOR US, not against us - the Universe does NOT have it in for us.
The Universe works with us to help us to see and feel the potential that resides within us, the hope, the dreams, and all that we choose - either consciously or unconsciously - not to see. It is our thoughts about what is happening along with our resistance to accept WHAT IS that causes our discord and dis-ease. Just think: how much easier would life be, and how it would flow if we just acknowledged what’s happening rather than expend all of our energy on negating and resisting it…
For every challenging event that we experience, for every disheartening occurrence, there resides immense potential for peace, healing and growth - of course, it’s necessary to grieve, to allow that process to take place, and then as we make our way through the grief-healing cycle, we find a new resilience within us, some hope that we wish to bring to the world, some courage, grace and strength that we can offer to others to make the world a better place. We might not see many of the effects of our intentions and healing work in the world around us in our lifetime, but we are most definitely planting the seed for the generations to come.
Think about that when you choose to neglect the healing that your Soul is guiding you towards; think about the disservice you’ll be doing for future generations because you gave into fear and illusion and prevented the healing that you came here to receive and share with the world.
Many are experiencing sleeplessness - this will pass. What’s happening is that our Souls are wide awake and they’re ready for us to begin doing the work that we’ve come here to do, they’re so excited that they forget that we as physical beings need our sleep. If you find yourself awake at odd hours over the next few days, do something nurturing during those hours, for instance journalling, meditating, reading, giving yourself a crystal healing by placing crystals upon your body as you lie in bed, or have a chat with your Guides to see what it is that your Soul wants you to know.
