The New Moon and two to three days before for going within, to honour the darkness - not in an evil sense - but the dark space/energy from which life is conceived; the feminine-creative energy.
Here is where we meet and (hopefully) sit with what is stirring within. It’s a time to slow down, not necessarily stop, a time to connect with and trust and honour your intuition.
Here is where we begin to feel into what our Soul requires from us for the lunar month ahead. And here is where all potential exists - this is where we begin to sense the dreams, visions and fears that have been awaiting the right time to surface.
The New Moon, for me is the time to sit and pay attention to the whispers of my Soul, to honour the needs of my body and Soul. It’s a time to recharge, to replenish my energy reserves and to begin to energetically prepare for the lunar month ahead.
It’s about two to three days after the New Moon, when the silver sliver of the Crescent Moon appears in the daytime sky, that it’s time to get clear on our goals for the coming month and begin to formulate a plan of action from what our Soul has been collecting and sharing during the Dark of Moon/New Moon time - allowing for ebbs and flows, shifts and changes.
♎ Libra energies…
Libra likes balance, harmony, beauty, and peace at all costs. Depending on their natal chart, some Libra natives will have more of a tendency to surround themselves with luxurious items that reflect just how much value they place on status and ‘looking the part’, ensuring that they always look immaculate - on the outside at least - the inside might be a different story altogether.
Other Libra natives, will be happy and at peace in more modest surroundings, knowing and feeling that a sense of balance and comfort is what’s most important to them.
Libra likes to look at all sides of a situation before offering their opinion - this is why they’re often depicted as indecisive, when the truth is that they just want to ensure that all involved parties will be getting a fair deal. If you ask a Libra for advice and they give it, know that they’ve considered all aspects and possibilities before offering it, so make sure that you acknowledge the time and energy that they’ve put into you and your situation.
It’s often said that Libra is in love with the idea of love. Whilst this might be true, many are also aware of the importance of feeling supported, heard and accepted as they are, and will have no problem preferring to love themselves rather than accepting less than they deserve in an unfulfilling relationship or partnership.
🌑 New Moon in ♎ Libra energies…
This month’s Libra New Moon is also a Super Moon - meaning that she is at her closest point to the Earth - but just because we cannot see her in the skies, doesn’t mean that her magical powers won’t be sensed. As with all New Moons, she cannot be seen at this time as she is travelling across the skies with the Sun.
This Libra New Moon is filled with the potential for new beginnings - especially, but not limited to our partnerships, marriages, relationships and significant one-to-one relationships, no matter what area they reside in (life or business).
So with the energies emphasising these important aspects of our lives, we are given the opportunity - as always - to decide whether things are as we’d like them to be; if not, then we are supported as we tap into these energies and have the heart-to-heart conversations and negotiations that we’ve been putting off. Remember that Libra is all about fairness, harmony and peace, so if you’re in need of any of those, now’s the time to speak your truth.
Given that the Moon and the Sun meet up in the first house, we are being guided to look at how we show up in the world - do we demonstrate fairness, diplomacy, harmony and equality in our own life? If not, then how can we expect others to do so?
We are called to be the expression of what we wish to see in the world. We have the opportunity to create something beautiful when we speak our Truth and honour our uniqueness, not only for ourselves, but for those around us and the world too as the energetic ripples reach far and wide.
After all of the inner and outer work that we’ve been doing this year especially, we are now at a place and space where we are ready to begin to introduce to the world the energies that have been integrating and anchoring into our energetic and physical bodies. We will begin to step more fully into our Calling, enabling us to begin to live our Purpose, stepping away from what no longer serves us and releasing it with love to be transmuted, which in turn brings us even more opportunities for transformation.
The work that our Souls and Spirit Teams have been doing with us, will begin to filter through into our daily lives. Many will be surprised when these powerful, yet subtle energies begin to flow into and through their regular activities, bringing about a new awareness of this human-spiritual journey that we are all fortunate to be experiencing at this pivotal point in time. The shifts that this will bring about will be immense. Stay tuned lovely ones, we are on the precipice of great change.
⭐ These are the underlying energies for this lunar month so bear these in mind as you set your intentions for this lunar month over the next day or two.
