The Full Moon is the midpoint of the lunar cycle - at this stage of the cycle we are called to look at the full picture of what it is that we are working towards or dealing with in our life.
When Grandmother Moon reaches 100% illumination there is not much that will remain hidden from us. At the same time, if we focus too much on one area we will be doing ourselves a disservice because we will effectively be preventing ourselves from seeing the full picture, which is where the details reside. Be mindful of what it is that you’re working on or have in front of you, but also pay attention to what’s taking place around you as this will also inform the overall situation.
At the Full Moon and up to two to three days after, the energies are great for finishing up the task at hand - the projects and tasks that we’ve been working on since the New Moon or even from an earlier cycle - remember not everything that is started at the New Moon is meant to be completed by the Full Moon of the same lunar cycle; each project has its own time frame and life cycle, yet we sometimes forget that this is the case and attempt to take on way too much, which leads to overwhelm as well as physical, emotional and mental dis-ease.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, panicky or anxious, take some time and see what ACTUALLY needs to get done, and leave the rest for another time. Leave some space in your schedule for YOU as your sleep may be affected. Unresolved emotions usually surface at this time in the lunar cycle, so ensure that you factor in some you-time so that you can recharge your batteries.
♌ Leo energies…
Leo, ruled by the Sun, brings an infusion of happiness, playfulness, drama and the power of self-expression to the fore. Leo loves the spotlight, he thrives on it and he’ll even do it at your expense if it means that he gets more time on stage. It’s not that Leo means any harm, it’s just that he values being looked at - he equates this with being adored - and doesn’t realise that feelings can be hurt and hearts can be broken as he continues to search for his audience.
The ego is activated in Leo. Leo announces his entrance by bounding into a room with the exuberance of a child - they really do just want to make everyone happy, not quite realising that sometimes people need some quiet time and to be left alone to process things in their own way. They mean well, they really do, but it is possible for them to forget (or intentionally distract themselves from) the importance of self-reflection and the need for solitude; it does after all, get pretty noisy when we begin the inner journey and this ‘noise’ just isn’t something that they’re comfortable with.
They always seem to be looking for an audience - or is it their defence mechanism? A way to keep from delving into the depths of their Soul to recover the wisdom that lies within, and do the necessary inner work that will bring the awareness and the answers that they long for, perhaps?
When I think of Leo, I think of the lion in The Wizard of Oz...bravado on the outside - all for show, creating a noisy distraction so that no-one has the opportunity to ask any deep, uncomfortable questions - and fear and an underdeveloped emotional maturity on the inside. This isn’t all Leos of course; there are some who are courageous enough to delve into the depths to recover their inner lion/lioness.
For all of the frivolity though, Leo does feel and indeed carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, tending to take on more than his share. They behave the way they do because they cannot understand why the world is so serious so often. There is great depth to beautiful Leo, but their perception of the challenges that lay on the path is simply too much for them to bear alone...until the day that performing for others simply doesn't cut it anymore - this is when they truly shine.
🌕 Full Moon in ♌ Leo energies…
The Leo Full Moon brings to our attention the polarising forces in and of our lives. From our relationship with ourself/Self, to our familial ties: there are deep, deep wounds surfacing for love, attention and affection. This isn't news to you, you've been coming face-to-face with discomfort in these areas since July last year, if not the entire year.
Where we now find ourselves is on the precipice of making the biggest decision that we've had to make in a long time - you think you've been making big decisions lately, wait until the energies of this Full Moon weave their way into your awareness over the coming months!
We are re-evaluating everything: from how we show up for ourself and others, and what that will look like from now on; to looking at what partnerships (of all kinds) look like, including the image and dynamic of family and what that means to and for us as we align more fully with our Purpose to honour our Sacred Contracts, of which, more and more details are being revealed each day.
Discomfort arises from all directions: from the Wounded Inner Child; to the Wounded Feminine and Masculine; whilst for some, it's about having to confront what the family unit is transforming into. Our own relationship with self/Self is not what it was, not even a week ago for those who have been doing the deep inner work; and we are being pulled and nudged to that energetic space where there will be no option other than to make a decision that will change or cause us to pivot from our current trajectory.
Changes will be made - there's no more time to mess about. We are being called to respond to that deep, inner call to alignment. Jump of your own volition, or you will be nudged closer and closer to the edge of the precipice.
There's nothing to fear but the illusion of fear.
Fear, conflict, confusion, competition and entanglements that do more harm than good are things that we will be seeing and experience less of over the coming months.
We've done so well to get as far as we have with the challenges and obstacles that have been placed on our path. Trust that what has brought you to the time, space and place in which you currently find yourself is and will continue to guide you towards a more aligned, purpose-full experience of all that you choose to consciously be a part of, taking you deeper into the revelation of your Contract so that you may gather more of your unique magick.
We find our unique gifts and medicine amongst the turmoil and upheaval of our daily life.

Full Moon in Leo energies for business…
If you've responded to the call of the soul of your business over the course of this month in particular, you would have pulled right back from your usual business activities, leaving only what was necessary.
This seemingly counter-intuitive action would have created enough of a vacuum for the flow of abundance (of all kinds) into your business to increase.
I have created a sacred energetic space for you for this next section, but feel free to create your own if guided:
Before you start looking for ways that prove that what I mentioned above is not the case; take a moment, take a few deep, cleansing breaths and pull your awareness out of your physical body and into your higher chakras. Once you're there, take another deep breath or two and take a look - as the Observer - at the energetic connections, threads and the unravelling entanglements that are taking place.
THIS is your Soul at work, sense how everything is working for the highest and greatest good and evolution of all, effortlessly, with ease and in unison with all that is connected to yourself/Self and your current physical and spiritual situation and circumstances; sense how your physical presence is needed to take action, not to interfere, and sense how things unfold perfectly when you step out of the way and allow your Higher Self/Soul to do what she knows how to do.
Whilst you're there, feel free to ask for guidance for any particular issue or topic that you may be struggling to comprehend on a human-level, allow your Soul to show/bring to you what you are ready to receive, and know that the guidance that you receive has been downloaded for retrieval as needed.
Be present in the magickal unfolding of your Sacred and Divine Purpose over the coming hours, days, weeks and months.
