The Full Moon is the midpoint of the lunar cycle - at this stage of the cycle we are called to look at the full picture of what it is that we are working towards or dealing with in our life.
When Grandmother Moon reaches 100% illumination there is not much that will remain hidden from us. At the same time, if we focus too much on one area we will be doing ourselves a disservice because we will effectively be preventing ourselves from seeing the full picture, which is where the details reside. Be mindful of what it is that you’re working on or have in front of you, but also pay attention to what’s taking place around you as this will also inform the overall situation.
At the Full Moon and up to two to three days after, the energies are great for finishing up the task at hand - the projects and tasks that we’ve been working on since the New Moon or even from an earlier cycle - remember not everything that is started at the New Moon is meant to be completed by the Full Moon of the same lunar cycle; each project has its own time frame and life cycle, yet we sometimes forget that this is the case and attempt to take on way too much, which leads to overwhelm as well as physical, emotional and mental dis-ease.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, panicky or anxious, take some time and see what ACTUALLY needs to get done, and leave the rest for another time. Leave some space in your schedule for YOU as your sleep may be affected. Unresolved emotions usually surface at this time in the lunar cycle, so ensure that you factor in some you-time so that you can recharge your batteries.
♋ Cancer energies…
Cancer embodies the energies of the healer, the home-maker and the nurturer. When you think of the quintessential mother-figure, Cancer is the energy most closely associated with those qualities.
They are often known as the homebody, preferring to be at home rather than out-and-about, ideally having everyone they love over for a nurturing meal and spending some quality time together.
Emotional in nature, they do have the tendency to emotionally manipulate others to ensure that their idealised vision of the perfect family life is shown to the world, they might not often be aware that beneath the surface things are anything but ideal.
Their focus is on having things running smoothly within the household so much so that they lose touch with the reality of the situation which might be a group of very disconnected people living under the same roof.
They mean well and have good intentions, but their delivery more often than not is misdirected and self-serving - they believe that if they’re doing well and doing good, then everyone else in the house/family should be too.
Their motto could very well be ‘it’s because I love you that...’ think Marie Barone, the matriarch in Everybody Loves Raymond and you’ll get a good idea of these energies.
As Cancer begins to understand the deeper aspects of their sign, they realise that there are deep emotional wounds that are in need of love, attention and affection, and this brings dis-ease and discord to their own perception of how the ideal life SHOULD look.
The layers that are revealed as we invite Cancer into our emotional life are many; from the Wounded Inner Child, to the many wounds related to the different aspects of the Feminine, and everything in between, they all serve to guide us back to the remembrance of our Divine Healed Template so that we can effect the shifts that we have Contracted to initiate/activate for Self/self and the collective.
🌕 Full Moon in ♋ Cancer energies…
The more disconnected we feel from our truth, the more discord we will feel in the days leading up to and following this potent final Full Moon of 2020.
Those who have been neglecting or avoiding the acknowledgement of the Divine Feminine Consciousness rising within, will feel torn between honouring the needs of the Soul, which is to sit in stillness, observing the reflections and projections of the world within and around us, versus the needs of the ego/mind, which is to do-do-do so that we may be accepted by those to whom we've handed our power in some way, shape or form.
Pay attention to the whispers of your Soul: the Divine Feminine is speaking to you through your Soul; She has much to share with you about where and how you place your valuable time, energy and attention. She asks you to detach (as objectively as possible) from any entanglements that are draining your vitality, to feel the hurt, the pain, the anger, the rage that stirs deep within you - there is Sacred Medicine contained within all of your experiences that is ready to be accessed at any given moment.
Stop the constant (masculine) do-do-do, go-go-go of your daily life and sit with the discomfort that arises when you STOP the activities that create the need to fit in or to be validated by those around you. The magick and magnificence of the Divine Feminine resides in this sacred space.
Give in to the tears that have been pushed back for way too long, allow your mind, body and soul to breathe the breaths that you have not allowed yourself to breathe, allow your mind, body and soul to shed the tears that have been barricading your heart from the goodness of the world.
There is a decision to be made - it is one that only YOU can make - and when you do, the freedom, abundance, peace, joy, and happiness that you have been seeking and wishing for will effortlessly present itself to you. It awaits your arrival, it sits patiently, just beyond the energetic barriers that you have created for yourself.
The way to this emancipation is through what appears to be chaos - herein lies the medicine that will awaken you to the next stage of your conscious evolution.
Honour your feelings and emotions by giving them the sacred space that they need to flow through and out of your physical and energetic bodies for transmutation. Light candles - fire is a great transmuter, journal, use essential oils, connect with nature, allow the Divine Feminine to guide you to the medicine that you most need at this time. You cannot, nor are you meant to do this alone. Call upon the Divine Mother to hold and support you always, but especially in the coming days as the energies build so that you may release as much as possible.

Full Moon in Cancer energies for business…
Assuming that you're tending to your emotional needs at this time, and you're uncovering wisdom that has been laying dormant anyway, let's look at the underlying energies of this Cancer Full Moon as she supports your business.
Some will feel compelled to continue to do the same old routine day-in, day-out - what other evidence do you need to prove that what you're doing isn't working?

✍ Given the time, energy and effort that you're putting into your business/work, are the results that you're getting worth that investment? Why/why not?
✍ FEEL into what might happen should you relinquish some of those tasks/activities: journal about any insights, sensations, thoughts, fears, inspiration that you receive as you do this exercise.
✍ Think about the times that you've come close to, or have actually burned out this year - is this energetically sustainable for you? How? If you're able to delve deeper: what causes you to push yourself to this extreme? Notice any themes, patterns, behaviours without judgement.
✍ What experiences would you like to have within your business now, as a result of your business functioning in an energetically sustainable way? Write as many as you can without the mind stepping in.
✍ What effects might this have on your life outside of your business/work? Explore this.
✍ What outcomes might FEEL more in alignment with your Calling? How? Why? Remember: no judgement, just explore and write what you receive.
✍ What beliefs did you stumble across as you explored these prompts? Again, write in free-flow mode, leaving any decisions, choices or judgements out of the picture for now; this is an information gathering exercise, exploration comes later.
