The Full Moon is the midpoint of the lunar cycle - at this stage of the cycle we are called to look at the full picture of what it is that we are working towards or dealing with in our life.
When Grandmother Moon reaches 100% illumination there is not much that will remain hidden from us. At the same time, if we focus too much on one area we will be doing ourselves a disservice because we will effectively be preventing ourselves from seeing the full picture, which is where the details reside. Be mindful of what it is that you’re working on or have in front of you, but also pay attention to what’s taking place around you as this will also inform the overall situation.
At the Full Moon and up to two to three days after, the energies are great for finishing up the task at hand - the projects and tasks that we’ve been working on since the New Moon or even from an earlier cycle - remember not everything that is started at the New Moon is meant to be completed by the Full Moon of the same lunar cycle; each project has its own time frame and life cycle, yet we sometimes forget that this is the case and attempt to take on way too much, which leads to overwhelm as well as physical, emotional and mental dis-ease.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, panicky or anxious, take some time and see what ACTUALLY needs to get done, and leave the rest for another time. Leave some space in your schedule for YOU as your sleep may be affected. Unresolved emotions usually surface at this time in the lunar cycle, so ensure that you factor in some you-time so that you can recharge your batteries.
♌ Leo energies…
Leo, ruled by the Sun, brings an infusion of happiness, playfulness, drama and the power of self-expression to the fore.
Leo loves the spotlight, he thrives on it and he’ll even do it at your expense if it means that he gets more time on stage. It’s not that Leo means any harm, it’s just that he values being looked at - he equates this with being adored - and doesn’t realise that feelings can be hurt and hearts can be broken as he continues to search for his audience. The ego is activated in Leo.
Leo announces his entrance by bounding into a room with the exuberance of a child - they really do just want to make everyone happy, not quite realising that sometimes people need some quiet time. They mean well, they really do, but it is possible for them to forget (or intentionally distract themselves from) the importance of self-reflection and the need for solitude; it does after all, get pretty noisy when we begin the inner journey and this ‘noise’ just isn’t something that they’re comfortable with.
They always seem to need an audience - or is it their defence mechanism? A way to keep from delving into the depths of their Soul to recover the wisdom that lies within and do the necessary inner work that will bring healing, perhaps?
When I think of Leo, I think of the lion in The Wizard of Oz...bravado on the outside - all for show, creating a noisy distraction so that no-one has the chance to ask any deep questions - and fear and emotional immaturity on the inside. This isn’t all Leos of course; there are some who are courageous enough to delve into the depths and recover their inner lion/lioness.
🌕 Full Moon in ♌ Leo energies…
At the Full Moon we here on Earth sit between the Moon and the Sun - each reflecting and projecting their energies at us, while we sit in the middle attempting to make sense of it all.
Today, with the Leo Moon travelling through the 1st house, we attempt to make sense of how we show up in the world. Are we showing up fully? Are we able to represent our full Essence in our interaction with Self as well as others? Chances are the answer here is NO. Only because we haven’t come to terms with the full expression of who we ‘are’ on a spiritual as well as human level, let alone a combination of the two.
Let’s explore this a little...There are quite a few ways to look at this, but as this is a general reading I’ll keep it to the main points: one lies in the way in which we show up as we are in this moment, with our daily challenges, struggles, triumphs, and joys etched upon our faces; another is how we show up as that part of ourselves that’s constantly searching for ‘spaces’ within our human experience, so that our Soul’s wisdom can stream through; and then there’s another aspect that allows us to integrate the two as we make our way through our daily lives.
As things are now, we find that our inner battles prevent us from discovering who we are and acknowledging what we find to ourselves. The inner battle detracts from our ability to show up as our true spiritual Essence.
Our inner battle prevents us from fully identifying with the polarities that are a part of our human makeup, and this in turn dims our light; if were we to acknowledge and accept that we are a combination of the Light, the Shadow, and all that lies in between, we would be better able to represent ourselves in our lives, businesses and the world around us.
On the other side of the planet we have the Aquarius Sun giving us glimpses of freedom - you might want to look at what that means, looks like and feels like to and for you personally - so that we can begin to ‘dare’ to explore beyond the confines of our daily existence.
What if we were to acknowledge where in our relationships ‘we’ may be coming up short rather than pointing the finger at others?
What if we were to look upon our own shortcomings with compassion so that we may be able to take a breath and breathe it right into our sacral chakra, the place where creation takes place?
What if all that we have locked away so tightly was seen as a gift rather than something to be ashamed of?
These are some of the questions that will help bring some light into the dark recesses of your human experience so that you may begin to experience some of that freedom that you’ve been seeking.
The Sun is travelling through the 7th house of relationships - and you know by now that my Work is about the relationship with Self; so allow this to be a reminder that when you see or sense discord in your life, look to Self first, to see where you may be neglecting yourSelf. Breathe compassion into your body, allow your Soul to guide the energy of compassion to where it’s most needed - your task is to feel/see/sense where it flows and to intuit the messages that arise for you.

Full Moon in Leo energies for business…
The polarity of the Leo Moon and Aquarius Sun energies remind us that compromise, as well as personal harmonic balance is always available to us. It is up to us to decide whether we will enter our interactions with others like a gladiator, ready for battle, or whether we prefer to experience freedom instead. The choice is ours - decide upon your intention beforehand, remain present, and be courageous enough to pull the plug on things if they start to get out of control.
Others are fired up and are ready to project their own stuff at us. Remember who you are - check in with yourSelf, gauge your own energetic and emotional temperature before, during and after any (potentially) loaded interactions. See if you can reschedule them ahead of time if possible, but if not, trust that there is something there for you to learn about yourself.
What is going on in our personal life inadvertently carries over into our business and vice versa. This week we are asked to be present and aware of our own needs before we take on our business tasks and especially before we interact with others; the energy that we bring into things is what will be woven into them. Keep this in mind this week.
Walk into interactions feeling uncertain about yourself, your worth, your value, and what you have to offer, and you can count on someone to be there to prove that to you. On the other hand, you don’t want to enter into conversations or interactions acting like a know-it-all either - choose something in between; you might have to embrace an ‘act as if and so it shall become’ energy to help you to mentally navigate the encounter.
No matter how heart-centred we are this week, someone will show up with a bucket full of their own insecurities, ready to lay them at your feet; this isn’t the first time they’re doing this, so don’t beat yourself up if you find yourself believing the energy that lingers long after the interaction is over. Go back to Source, centre yourSelf and remember that although you are a magnificent and divine being, you are also having a very human experience, and that will sometimes leave you feeling a little shaken.
This week is all about compassion and trust - trust yourSelf, know your Source, and then when others attempt to dump their stuff on you, remember who you are, take a breath, stand up straight, call in your Team (if you haven’t already) and ‘know’ that you can only do what you can do - you are ‘not’ responsible for others, nor how they receive and interpret things.
It does feel like a heavy week business wise, but remember that no matter what is going on in our business right now, there is the potential to sense the freedom that’s available to us. Pay attention to your night-time dreams, daydreams, and meditations as they contain within them some of the magick ingredients that your human self is in need of right now.
In terms of what will help you to navigate these energies...strip things right back - go back to the basics; keep things simple; do what needs to be done; do what calls to you; don’t force, resist, or attempt to control what is not meant to be at this stage; and above all, make sure you dedicate some time to YOU - reflect, review, contemplate, connect, fill your cup, honour your Soul and your physical body.

Take a moment to see how far you’ve come, what you’ve done to bring yourself to this point in time, and remember just how resilient, courageous, and capable you are!
