The New Moon and two to three days before for going within, to honour the darkness - the dark space/energy from which life is conceived; the feminine-creative energy.
Here is where we meet and (hopefully) sit with what is stirring within. It’s a time to slow down, not necessarily stop, a time to connect with and trust and honour your intuition.
Here is where we begin to feel into what our Soul requires from us for the lunar month ahead. And here is where all potential exists - this is where we begin to sense the dreams, visions and fears that have been awaiting the right time to surface.
The New Moon, for me is the time to sit and pay attention to the whispers of my Soul, to honour the needs of my body and Soul. It’s a time to recharge, to replenish my energy reserves and to begin to energetically prepare for the lunar month ahead.
It’s about two to three days after the New Moon, when the silver sliver of the Crescent Moon appears in the daytime sky, that it’s time to get clear on our goals for the coming month and begin to formulate a plan of action from what our Soul has been collecting and sharing during the Dark of Moon/New Moon time - allowing for ebbs and flows, shifts and changes.
♒️ Aquarius energies
Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, speaks to the adventurous soul in each of us. It highlights the rebel, the one who does things differently and the one who feels stifled by conformity.
Aquarius may play and look the fool, but it's their way of testing the waters and stretching their energetic boundaries. They are spontaneous, appear irresponsible, and they believe that the world is full of synchronicities that will line their path, lighting the way back Home.
Being human is quite challenging for Aquarius: the rules, regulations, guilt. blame and shame that seem to fill their days, popping up in the moments before and during instantaneous revelations wears heavily on them. They long to be free, and they will take any opportunity to discover what that is, and indeed what that looks like to and for them.
They want to explore, to express themselves in their unique way, breaking free of the societal norms that seem to keep everyone else in line. They have no problem disconnecting from the world - at times even whilst remaining quite present to their surroundings - allowing their spontaneous and intuitive nature to guide them from moment to moment.
They do not worry too much about tomorrow, trusting that all of their needs will be provided for - and indeed they are.
They reinvent themselves over and over, each time with a deeper bond to Source and their divine Essence. Emotionally, they appear detached, some of this has been learned, so that they can function in the world; the truth is that they feel things quite deeply, so much so that they want to free the world from suffering, but at the same time, they know and understand that each person decides their own reality and must walk their own path.
Another aspect of their seeming detachment comes from their ability to travel multidimensionally - whilst having a conversation for instance, a part of their soul will travel to other dimensions to gather the necessary medicine to bring back to the conversation and/or situation in which they are engaged.
As Aquarius matures, their essential nature remains, what changes though, is their ability to gather and hold the necessary wisdom and medicine - much like a sacred energetic container - for the person, place, or time in which they are currently experiencing life. The more they deepen into their own medicine, the more fully they embody their Sacred Contract and Purpose. There is a definitive point in time when they enter into the initiation that will take them to the acceptance and deepening of their role here on Earth - as well as multidimensionally. There will be a noticeable shift when their questions become more soul-focused and the day-to-day 'stuff' no longer holds as much importance as it once did.
The journey to greater and deeper awareness is a long one, but if you're the Aquarian or you're fortunate enough to have one in your life, you'll benefit greatly from watching how they evolve and grow into the full expression of what they've come here to BE, facilitating the shifts that only they can.
🌑 New Moon in ♒️️ Aquarius
The lead up to this Aquarius New Moon has been deep and for many, quite uncomfortable as we find ourselves at the point in our journey where yet another aligning decision must be made. I say must because it feels that there's no other option other than to shift or pivot along our current trajectory.
The urge to retreat and go back to what was once comfortable - no matter how uncomfortable it has become - will be what we will feel most pulled to if we allow ourself and our mind to react out of conditioned patterns and behaviours.
When we take a moment and choose to respond instead, the pivot or shift - even if it is only a mindset shift - will instantly collapse old energetic structures that are no longer sustaining any sort of helpful or useful energetic momentum, yet remain for whatever reason.
It's time to realise that the old stories of shame only serve to dim our light, and are very much old paradigm. Be prepared for the Wounded Inner Child to be activated and to kick up a stink. Sit with the discomfort that arises as a result, and take the position of the Observer to watch the unfolding drama and the energetic tendrils that are activated when she feels threatened - remember: she will be reacting rather than responding; what she needs is love, to be seen and to be acknowledged, not chastised.
I do also feel the need to mention that our perception of how silly we may look, is OURS; it's important to remember that everyone else is dealing with their own stuff and it's highly unlikely that they'll be watching your every move to see if you put a foot wrong. Test this out if you don't believe me.

There's a whole lot of anger, resentment and even some guilt that is being stirred by the current energies, again, be the *Observer* and see what is revealed to you.

At the time of the New Moon, there are four other planets in Aquarius: Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury who is currently on his retrograde journey - I share more about this journey in my Mercury Rx Energy Report.
As you can see, there's an enormous amount of supportive, albeit rebellious energy at our disposal, so if you've been feeling that something's got to give, or you've simply had enough, harness these energies to really gain traction and expand beyond what you think is possible.
I'll briefly delve into the energies of these planets and their placements so that you can get an idea of what's happening FOR you - remember: you've written this into your Contract.
Venus: we see and understand how important our relationship to Self is - yes, again! There's a deepening taking place that we couldn't have imagined at the beginning of the year. There's an element of soul-alignment taking place, a natural flow towards a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Source/Spirit, as we can sense the deeper connections that arise from investing our time, love, affection and energy into whatever it is that's speaking to us via the heart. Opportunities for relocation may be possible, but as Mercury is currently retrograde, it's advisable to wait until after the shadow period, unless of course, you have an unmistakable nudge from Source.
Jupiter: the deeper we go, the more profound and transformational the questions we begin to ask, leading to monumental shifts in individual consciousness that begins to ripple to the collective. There's an expansion taking place that allows you to tap into your past/other life experiences, harnessing the teachings, wisdom and medicine so that you can evolve more rapidly here at this time. There's an understanding between the ego and the Soul that enable us to live the best of both worlds: simultaneously. Risk taking becomes crucial when it comes to aligning more deeply and fully with our Sacred Contract - think outside the box. Multidimensional travel becomes more regular - and not only in the sleep state.
Saturn: freedom is ours - should we choose it - as we embody the gifts of Jupiter in Aquarius, observing how the energies move into and through our energy fields and energetic templates, continuing the re-weaving of the new matrix that we are co-creating with Source - so that we may access more of our multidimensional selves. Again, the focus is on the questions we ask ourselves and of Source, these will determine how enmeshed we might be in the old paradigm; highlighting the potential avenues for the expression of our Truth no matter where we find ourselves on our journey. Our reality can be shifted in an instant. It's important to pay attention to our mindset, feeling into any discord and dis-ease in our bodies, to identify old patterning that's affecting and/or influencing a deeper alignment with our unique medicine.
Mercury Rx: what gifts this medicine brings us! The feelings and thoughts of inadequacy are a natural (human) reaction to anything that's new; more specifically, that a lot of what is being revealed to us, and what is stirring deep within are things that haven't been explored in this reality before - or at least not in our current incarnation on Earth; possibly in other dimensions, and that's where the magick resides. Time has recently, and will continue to take on a new flow and flavour as we delve into more of our multidimensional selves. New Moon in Aquarius energies for business
When it comes to our business, we may find that the old ghosts are coming back for a visit. The mind conjures up all sorts of stories to validate the whys and hows or our current situation - or in some cases: predicament - yep, the Victim is right there just waiting for the slightest dip in our vibration to make his/her grand entrance.
This isn't necessarily a time to begin anything new - thanks to Mercury Rx along with some other energetic influences - but it is a time for deepening into what is speaking and calling to you from the depths of your heart.
Massive soul-alignment is taking place, and we each get to choose whether we willingly step into it. Pay attention to the energetic flutters that take place as they indicate the potential that's available to you. Notice also, how adventurous and excited you feel about the opportunity or potential that you're responding to regardless of what the ego-mind is telling you.
You are the first to walk this path - no-one has or will ever do it in the way that only you can. You are the one who is paving the way for those who follow. Don't concern yourself with any perceived mistakes or missteps - think of them instead as energetic path testers and strengtheners as you weave new elements into the matrix of your particular experiences.
You are a wayshower, a lightbearer, an anchor, for yourself/Self, for those with whom you have a Sacred Contract, and for those who are a part of your lineage - human, galactic or otherwise.
Do not burden yourself any further with the games of the mind. You are here at this time for a reason. There is a much bigger purpose than you can even begin to imagine - and even if you have an inkling of something big; it's even bigger than that; and whilst your multidimensional selves do not have an issue with that, your human self will, and it's up to you to do what's necessary to keep building momentum so that your expansion and evolution continue.
